Els fenòmens càrstics a les Rondalles Mallorquines d’en Jordi des Racó: notes de geomorfologia, lingüística i etnografia

    L’aplec de Rondalles Mallorquines d’En Jordi des Racó és un recull dels contes anònims de tradició i transmissió oral que aborden temes i tòpics universals, malgrat l’adaptació i la incorporació de temes i escenaris –en el sentit de marc ambiental i cultural– de caràcter local. En aquest sentit, atès el domini del rocam carbonàtic a l’illa de Mallorca, no és gens estrany trobar al patrimoni rondallístic illenc, nombroses referències als fenòmens exocàrstics i endocàrstics. Si bé les cavitats són l’element més present, en les seves variants terrestres i marines, altres tipus de formes de l’exocarst com el karren –tant el de muntanya, com el litoral– també esdevenen el marc, o un dels elements substancials, de la contarella. En el present article es fa un inventari de cada una de les formes càrstiques presents i s’hi consideren els aspectes lingüístics i etnogràfics relacionats.

    The Rondalles Mallorquines by Jordi des Racó are a collection of anonymous Mallorca folk tales that passed from one generation to another by means of oral tradition. The topics of the tales address universal themes; although, very often, they adapt or incorporate local themes and scenarios (in the sense of local environmental and cultural frameworks). In this regard, it is not surprising to find in the island’s tales traditional heritage numerous references to the exokarst and endokarst phenomena because the dominance of the carbonate rocks all along the island of Mallorca. Although caves are the most abundant feature (including both terrestrial and marine variants) other types of the exokarstic forms, such as coastal and terrestrial karren also become the framework or the substantial elements of the tales’ physiographical background. In this article we implement an inventory of the different karstic forms that appear at the Rondalles and we address different issues related with the geomorphology, linguistic and ethnographic aspects of each of the terms considered.
