¿De una utopía sin política, a una política sin utopía?

    En este artículo reflexionamos sobre las conflictivas e importantes relaciones entre razón utópica y razón política. En particular, en un momento del siglo XXI y del escenario internacional en que se ha querido imponer la idea de que la política actual no requiere de utopías y que ellas han sido responsables de los males del siglo. Lo central de este artículo –generado a partir de la conmemoración de los 500 años del texto Utopía, de Tomas Moro- es plantear e intentar justificar la necesidad de una rehabilitación de la razón utópica que, por una parte, no caiga en una “ingenuidad utópica”, y, por la otra, pueda considerar su rearticulación con el devenir de la razón política moderna de manera crítica.

    In diesem Artikel reflektieren wir über die konfliktiven und bedeutenden Beziehungen zwischen utopischer Vernunft und politischer Vernunft. Dies insbesondere zu einem Zeitpunkt im 21. Jahrhundert und auf einer internationalen Bühne, wo sich die Idee durchgesetzt hat, dass die gegenwärtige Politik keine Utopien erfordert und dass sie für die Übel des Jahrhunderts verantwortlich war. Der zentrale Punkt dieses Artikels -im Gedenken an die 500 Jahre des Textes Utopia von Thomas Morus- ist es, die Notwendigkeit einer Rehabilitierung der utopischen Vernunft, die einerseits nicht in einen "utopischen Naivität" fällt und andererseits ihre Reartikulation mit der Evolution der modernen politischen Vernunft kritisch betrachten kann, zu thematisieren und zu begründen.

    In this article, we reflect on the conflictual and significant relationships between utopian reason and political reason. This especially at a time in the 21st century and on an international stage where the idea has prevailed that contemporary politics does not require utopias and that it was responsible for the evils of the century. The central point of this article - in memory of the 500 years of the text Utopia by Thomas Morus - is to address and justify the necessity of a rehabilitation of utopian reason, which on the one hand does not fall into a "utopian naivety" and on the other hand can critically view its rearticulation with the evolution of modern political reason.
