    El siguiente trabajo busca aproximarse a un estudio analítico y descriptivo del Aguinaldo de Caigua. Hasta ahora no se ha encontrado en otra región de Venezuela algo similar, por lo que es de sumo interés descifrar la manera de ejecutar e interpretar el género mencionado. En una manifestación de gran trascendencia para los habitantes de este pueblo como el Niño Jesús “Pascualito”, se indagará sobre el origen, proceso y vivencia de esta manifestación, de manera que la información sirva como argumento para profundizar sobre esta música. En cuanto a su forma y versos, se evaluará el orden evaluará el orden en que transita su ejecución y encadenamiento de ideas, aunado al estudio de cada instrumento y su aporte a la interpretación del mismo.

    The following paper is an approach to an analytical and descriptive study of the Aguinaldo de Caigua. Something similar has not been found in another region of Venezuela until now. So, it is of great interest to decipher the way to execute and interpret the aforementioned genre. In a manifestation of great importance for the inhabitants of this town as the Niño Jesus «Pascualito», the origin, process and experience of this manifestation will be investigated, so that the information serves as an argument to deepen into this and verses, music. Regarding its form and verses, the order in which its execution and chain of ideas transits will be evaluated, together with the study of each instrument and its contribution to its interpretation.
