Resumen de Arqueología social latinoamericana: Epistemología de la praxis

  Este artículo tematiza las bases epistemológicas sobre las cuales se desarrolla la Arqueología Social Latinoamericana. La misma posee un aspecto controvertido en su propedéutica deontológica (el compromiso social), ya que se erige como ciencia social marxista y busca intervenir en el presente mediante la praxis revolucionaria. El problema central que se suscita con respecto a esta posición se encuentra ligado directamente a la versión sobre el pasado que puede ofrecer dicha arqueología, la cual, a su vez, entraña una serie de operaciones metodológicas y teóricas que deben asentarse sobre determinadas bases epistemológicas. Estas cuestiones pueden analizarse a partir de las obras de Luis Guillermo Lumbreras y Luis Felipe Bate. En este trabajo se propone el concepto de praxis como fundamento epistémico-político.

  Dieser Artikel thematisiert die erkenntnistheoretischen Grundlagen der Entwicklung der lateinamerikanischen Sozial-Archäologie. In ihrer ethischen Propädeutik findet sich ein umstrittener Aspekt (das soziale Engagement), da sie sich als marxistische Sozialwissenschaft vorstellt und versucht, in der Gegenwart mit einer revolutionären Praxis zu intervenieren. Das in Bezug auf diese Position entstehende Hauptproblem steht in direktem Zusammenhang mit der Version der Vergangenheit, die eine solche Archäologie anbieten kann, und die wiederum eine Reihe von theoretischen und methodologischen Operationen beinhaltet, die auf bestimmten erkenntnistheoretischen Grundlagen basieren müssen. Diese Probleme können ausgehend von den Werken von Luis Guillermo Lumbreras und Luis Felipe Bate analysiert werden. In diesem Beitrag wird ein Begriff der Praxis als epistemisch-politische Grundlage vorgeschlagen.

  This article develops the epistemological bases of Latin American Social Archeology. It has a controversial aspect in its deontological propaedeutic (social commitment), since it stands as a Marxist social science and seeks to intervene in the present-day through revolutionary praxis. The central problem that arises with respect to this position is directly linked to the version on the past that archeology can offer, which, in turn, involves a series of methodological and theoretical operations that must be based on certain epistemological sources. These issues can be analyzed from the works of Luis Guillermo Lumbreras and Luis Felipe Bate. In this paper the concept of praxis is proposed as an epistemic-political foundation.
