Resumen de El cuerpo facultativo de archiveros y los archivos municipales en Andalucía (primera parte)

  En el siglo XIX surgieron en Europa los Estados-Nación en cuyas capitales respectivas se crearán los Archivos Nacionales, donde se reunirán los documentos fundamentales para el conocimiento de la historia nacional y que se convertirán además, en un poderoso elemento de legitimación histórica. Será en estos momentos cuando se inicie una legislación específica para los archivos, que en España se pondrán bajo la dependencia del Ministerio de Instrucción Pública, y se cree un cuerpo profesional de funcionarios para su organización y servicio. Desde un primer momento los archivos municipales fueron objeto de interés y hubo intentos de incorporarlos al Estado. Tras varios intentos fracasados durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, con el nuevo siglo se pretendía con su incorporación iniciar la creación de los archivos provinciales. Entre 1923 y 1929 se llevaron a cabo una serie de visitas de inspección en casi todas las provincias por archiveros del Estado, cuyo resultado fueron unas Memorias que enviaron al director del Archivo Histórico Nacional. Finalmente, los archivos municipales no fueron incorporados a los archivos del Estado y continuaron dependiendo de sus respectivos ayuntamientos. Estudiamos aquí las Memorias conservadas de las provincias andaluzas, haciendo especial hincapié en los aspectos relativos a la conservación en que se encontraban los documentos.

  In the nineteenth century the Nation-States emerged in Europe where the fundamental documents for the knowledge of the national history will be gathered and that will become, in addition, a powerful element of historical legitimation. It will be in these moments when a specific legislation for the archives is executed, that in Spain it remains under the dependency of the Ministry of Public Instruction and a professional body of the civil servants is created for its organization and service. From the first moment the municipal archives were an object of interest and there were attempts to incorporate them into the State. After several failed attempts during the second half of the nineteenth century, with the new century it is intended with its incorporation to start the creation of the provincial archives. Between 1923 and 1929 a series of inspection visits was carried out in almost all provinces by state archivists, the result of which was a reports (Memorias) sent to the National Historical Director. Finally, the archives were not incorporated into the State archives and were kept in their own town halls. Study here the preserved reports of the Andalusian provinces, with special emphasis on the aspects related to the conservation in which the documents are found.
