Explica la gènesi del llibre Les cuques, una aportació al gènere del Nature Writing des del Montseny, a la manera de The Philosophy of Composition d’Edgar Allan Poe o de Comment j’ai écrit certains de mes livres de Raymond Roussel: l’escriptura, els referents literaris i cinematogràfics i la relació que l’autor ha mantingut amb els insectes en diferents èpoques. Presenta el carrer del Castell d’Arbúcies com el microcosmos on es produeix la descoberta del món.
Recorre diferents indrets d’Arbúcies i Viladrau. I explica l’impacte emocional d’una malaltia neurològica i del procés de rehabilitació, que priven una família de viure en contacte amb la natura.
La idea del temps hi és present a través de l’obra de Salvador Espriu i d’Ingmar Bergman, que es barreja amb l’observació minuciosa d’escarabats i papallones i amb la manera de veure el món de la gent de pagès.

This article explains the genesis of the book “Les cuques”, a contribution from Montseny to the genre of Nature Writing in the manner of “The Philosophy of composition” by Edgar Allan Poe or “Comment j’ai écrit certains de mes livres” by Raymond Roussel: writing, the literary and cinematographic references, and the author’s relationship with insects at different periods of his life. The book portrays Castell d’Arbúcies street as a microcosm where the discovery of the world takes place. It moves through different sites of Arbúcies and Viladrau.
And it explains the emotional impact of a neurological illness and the rehabilitation process, which deprive a family of the pleasures of life in contact with nature. The idea of time is present through the works of Salvador Espriu and Ingmar Bergman, along with the close observation of beetles and butterflies and the way people who live in the countryside see the world
