El trabajo infantil y juvenil en la encrucijada de la exclusión y la pobreza: Un aporte socio-educativo

    En América Latina, la tendencia hacia una mayor dualización social, el desmembramiento de las redes de contención política social y la informalidad regente en el mercado de trabajo han propiciado el incremento del trabajo infantil y juvenil, constreñido a condiciones denigrantes de exclusión y explotación, que se complementan comúnmente con el abandono educativo, la no-participación social y la reproducción de la pobreza y la desigualdad. Es por este motivo que el desarrollo de una mirada socio-educativa resulta clave para el abordaje del trabajo infantil y juvenil, y la instalación de un nuevo modelo de intervención política educativa y social, basado en la empoderización de los actores, la optimización de las políticas públicas y el desarrollo de programas de formación integrales.

    In Lateinamerika haben die Tendenz zu einer weitgreifenden sozialen Dualisierung, die Zerstörung von sozialpolitischen Auffangnetzen und die im Arbeitsmarkt vorherrschende Informalität einen Anstieg der Kinder- und Jugendlichenarbeit zur Folge gehabt -beschränkt auf erniedrigende Bedingungen der Exklusion und Ausbeutung, die normalerweise mit der Vernachlässigung der Erziehung, der sozialen Nicht-Beteiligung und der Reproduktion von Armut und Ungleichkeit Hand in Hand gehen. Aus diesem Grund ist eine sozialerzieherische Perspektive grundlegend für die Erörterung der Arbeit von Kindern und Jugendlichen und für den Einsatz eines neuen Modells der erziehungspolitischen Intervention, das auf dem Empowerment der Akteure basiert, wie auch auf der Optimierung der öffentlichen Politiken und der Entwicklung von integralen Erziehungsprogrammen.

    In Latin America, the tendency towards a greater social duality, the dismemberment of socio-political control networks and the managing informality in labor market have favored the increase of child and youth work, bringing about degrading conditions of exclusion and exploitation that are generally accompanied by school desertion, lack of social participation and the reproduction of poverty and inequality. It is for this reason that the development of a socio-educational approach is crucial for dealing with child and youth work, and the establishment of a new model of social, educational and political intervention based on the empowering of actors, the optimization of public policies and the development of integral educational programs.
