Resumen de La "Filosofía de la Liberación" ante el debate de la Postmodernidad y los estudios latinoamericanos

El artículo presenta un panorama de la filosofía de la liberación ante los debates de la postmodernidad y los estudios latinoamericanos. Se describen los complejos y diversos marcos teóricos que se manejan y construyen a finales de los '90, tanto en América Latina como entre los estudiosos de América Latina en Estados Unidos (latinoamericanistas). Se sostiene la tesis de que la Filosofía de la Liberación, al final de los años 60, fue ya una Filosofía postmoderna desde la periferia mundial, como superación de la ontología (la Ueberwindung) inspirada en la miseria latinoamericana y la alteridad levinasiana.

Der Artikel stellt angesichts der Debatten des Postmodernismus und der Lateinamerikastudien ein Panorama der Philosophie der Befreiung vor. Es werden die verschiedenartigen und komplexen Theorien beschrieben, die am Ende der 90er Jahre sowohl in Lateinamerika als auch von Lateinamerikanisten in den Vereinigsten Staaten verteidigt und entworfen wurden. Es wird dabei die These aufgestellt, dass die Philosophie der Befreiung bereits am Ende der 60er Jahre ausgehend von der Peripherie der Welt als Ueberwindung der Ontologie und inspiriert vom lateinamerikanischen Elend und der Alterität Levinas´ postmodern war.

The article presents a perspective of the Philosophy of Liberation in front of the debates on Post-modernity and Latin American studies. The complex and diverse theoretical frameworks developed at the end of the 90's, not only in Latin America but also among Latin American specialists in the United States, are described. The idea that, at the end of the 60's, the Philosophy of Liberation was already a post-modern Philosophy from the periphery of the world is sustained, as an improvement of the ontology (the Ueberwindung) inspired by the Latin American misery and levinasian alterity.
