    El presente trabajo de investigación lleva a cabo un estudio sobre los Gastos del Estado en el Constitucionalismo histórico español. Con carácter introductorio aborda la trascendencia y significación histórica del Constitucionalismo, además de las características principales del denominado Constitucionalismo histórico español. Parte, para su análisis, del Estatuto de Bayona (Carta Otorgada) de 1808. A continuación los Gastos del Estado son estudiados en la Carta Española de 1812, el Estatuto Real de 1834, la Carta Española de 1837, la Carta Española de 1845, el Proyecto de Carta Española de 1856, la Carta Española de 1869, el Proyecto de Carta Española Federal de 1873, la Carta Española de 1876, el Proyecto de Carta de la Monarquía española de 1929 y, por último, la Carta Española de 1931. Con esta investigación científica pretendemos abordar las transformaciones que han experimentado los Gastos del Estado en el denominado Constitucionalismo histórico español.

    The present research work carries out a study on the expenditure of the State in the so-called Spanish historical constitutionalism. With an introductory character, it deals with the transcendence and historical significance of Constitutionalism, as well as the main characteristics of the so-called Spanish historical Constitutionalism. For its analysis, it starts with the Statute of Bayonne (Carta Otorgada) of 1808. Next, the State’s expenses are studied in the Spanish Charter of 1812, the Royal Statute of 1834, the Spanish Charter of 1837, the Spanish Charter of 1845, the Draft Spanish Charter of 1856, the Spanish Charter of 1869, the Draft Federal Spanish Charter of 1873, the Spanish Charter of 1876, the Draft Spanish Monarchy Charter of 1929 and, finally, the Spanish Charter of 1931.

    With this scientific research we intend to address the transformations that the State’s expenditures have undergone in the so-called Spanish historical constitutionalism.
