Resumen de Tres ciclos de la acción sindical durante el primer peronismo (1946-1955). (Re)consideraciones

  El artículo analiza la participación de los trabajadores durante el primer gobierno peronista a partir de la distinción de tres ciclos de acción sindical, relacionando el contexto económico, la situación política y la protesta obrera. Este primer acercamiento se complementa con datos estadísticos, la bibliografía más importante sobre la cuestión y los resultados de estudios de caso realizados en los últimos quince años. Nuestra hipótesis central sostiene que ciertas miradas de la historiografía sobre el tema deben ser revisadas y replanteadas. Con este fin, en el artículo se recuperan y se relacionan datos estadísticos de salarios, reuniones sindicales, huelgas, huelguistas y jornadas laborales perdidas. A su vez, se revisan críticamente las fuentes y otros tipos de informaciones.

  Así, el artículo combina análisis cuantitativos y cualitativos para poder apreciar de la mejor manera posible los ciclos de acción sindical de los trabajadores, dejando planteado como enfoque alternativo del proceso la hipótesis de que la acción sindical se fue incrementando y ganando importancia a lo largo de todo el período.

  This paper analyzes the participation of the workers during the first peronist government based on the distinction of three cycles of trade union action, relating the economic context, the political situation and workers’ protest.

  This first approach is completed with data on statistics, the most important bibliography and the results of case studies in the last fifteen years. Our central hypothesis sustains that certain aspects of the historiography on the subject must be revised and reconsidered. With this objective, we study statistics mostly on salaries, quantity of trade unions meetings, strikes, strikers, and lost day’s work. We also review criticism of sources and other types of information. The paper combines quantitative and qualitative analysis to appreciate the cycles of trade union action during the first Peronism.

  The alternative approach to the process sustains that trade union action increased and gained importance during this period.
