Primer intercambio de investigación en México

    La investigación científica y el desarrollo tecnológico constituyen una parte fundamental del progreso de los países, y mas aun en la carrera de medicina1.

    En los últimos años ha surgido un interés creciente por realizar investigación en medicina en todos los niveles de educación2.

    Tengo la dicha de haber sido el primer estudiante de medicina de Bolivia en realizar el intercambio de investigación con el programa Standing Committee Research Exchanges (SCORE) de la International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA).

    Mi intercambio duro un mes y lo realice en el departamento de fisiología cardiovascular experimental de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), Monterrey - México.

    Scientific research and technological development are a fundamental part of the progress of countries, and even more so in medical careers1.

    In recent years there has been a growing interest in medical research at all levels of education2.

    I have the joy of being the first medical student in Bolivia to carry out a research exchange with the Standing Committee Research Exchanges (SCORE) program of the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA).

    My exchange lasted one month and I did it in the department of experimental cardiovascular physiology of the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon (UANL), Monterrey - Mexico.
