Resumen de Dos nuevas especies de Linoproductidae (Brachiopoda) y algunas consideraciones sobre el Neopaleozoico sedimentario de las cercanías de Uspallata, Argentina
Costamulus amosi sp. nov. [=Cancrinella Cf. farlevensis (Etheridge and Dunn) Amos, 1961] and Coolkilella keideli sp. nov. (Linoproductidae, Brachiopoda) from the Early Permian (Asselian) of Argentina are described and illustrated. The Tivertonia-Streptorhynchus biozone (Late Estefanian?) is pointed to occur at CalingastaUspallata basin. A new arragement of Upper Paleozoic lithologic entiües of Uspallata is proposed, based on the interpretation of faunal assemblages. The Agua del Jagüel and Santa Elena fonnations are discussed. The lithostratigraphic units, Jarillal and Tramojo, are regarded to be the members of the Santa Elena formation
