Desprotección a la infancia en el ámbito familiar: protocolos de prevención y actuación en materia de protección infantil desde el ámbito escolar

    El presente artículo revisa la actuación del profesorado de Educación Primaria ante las posibles situaciones de desprotección infantil que puedan detectarse en el aula. Se parte del supuesto que una detección precoz y un adecuado conocimiento de protocolos de coordinación establecidos entre los centros educativos y el Gobierno Vasco, alivian las consecuencias que estas situaciones puedan generar. Con tal fin, se ha realizado un análisis cuantitativo en distintos centros educativos de Bizkaia sobre el conocimiento que tiene el profesorado en materia de protección a la infancia y sobre los procedimientos a seguir en dichas situaciones de desprotección.

    Este estudio visibilizará que únicamente un pequeño porcentaje de los profesionales de la enseñanza posee conocimientos sobre la aplicación de protocolos existentes en materia de protección a la infancia

    This work aims to review the performance of Primary Education teachers dealing with possible situations of unprotected children that may be detected in the classroom. It will be assumed that an early detection and an adequate knowledge of the steps to be followed by the professionals alleviate the consequences that these situations may be generating in the minor. In this way, the concept of the lack of protection in childhood and the description of the coordination protocols established between the schools and the Basque Government will be deepened. All this has its background in the analysis that has been carried out in different schools in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country on the knowledge that teachers have in terms of child protection and on the procedures to be followed in such defenselessness situations. This study will make it visible that only a small percentage of teaching professionals have knowledge about the application of existing protocols in the field of child protection
