    El artículo se ocupa de la historia política de los últimos treinta años de Hungría en perspectiva comparada. Examina las cuestiones y las características de la transición política húngara, especialmente los acontecimientos del año milagroso y fundamental de 1989. Analiza el proceso de cambio de sistema, el proceso constitucional, las transformaciones del sistema político y de sistema de partidos húngaro en el espejo de las elecciones generales, elecciones europeas y referendums. El texto demuestra las tendencias del desarrollo del sistema político húngaro y se ocupa de los efectos y las consecuencias institucionales de la adhesión del país a la Unión Europea

    The basic object of the study is analyzing political history of Hungary over the past thirty years from the viewpoint of comparative aspects. It analyses the characteristic features of the Hungarian political transitition, particularly the events of the relevant year of 1989. It examines the change of system, the constitutional process, the transformation of political and party-system in the mirror of general elections, European Parliamentary elections and referendums. It surveys the tendencies of the development of the Hungarian political system and institutional consequences of joining of Hungary to the European Union
