Resumen de Redes, epistemologías y acciones. Manuel Zapata Olivella en el Primer Congreso de la Cultura Negra de las Américas

A partir de una metodología de análisis de redes complejas, el artículo busca explorar la forma en la que el escritor, intelectual y activista Manuel Zapata Olivella se conecta y logra alcanzar una posición central en las redes intelectuales y de activismo afrolatinoamericanas. Centrado particularmente en el Primer Congreso de la Cultura Negra de las Américas, el artículo muestra cómo las redes textuales, sociales, académicas, políticas, etc., han sido una forma organizativa constante de los movimientos negros en la región, y que, dada su complejidad, requieren una lectura desde varias escalas. Asimismo, el artículo mostrará cómo Manuel Zapata Olivella expande su red local y transnacional gracias a la solidaridad trans-afectiva como elemento fundamental para generar las sinergias de las redes afrolatinoamericanas intelectuales y de activismo.

The article aims to explore how Afro-Colombian writer, intellectual and activist, Manuel ZapataOlivella, gets connected and manages to occupy a central position in the Afro-Latin Americanintellectual and activist networks. Based on a computational and statistical methodology to study complex networks, the article will be focused on the First Congress of Black Culture in the Americas, showing how the form network as organizational strategy has been constantly adopted by Black movements in the region. Given the complexity of these networks, the article also proposes that they must be studies from a multi-varied-scale. Finally, through the analysis of the studied data, the article will show how Manuel Zapata Olivella expands his connection from local to trans-national networks thanks to a trans-affective solidarity as basic element to produce synergies in the Afro-Latin American intellectual and activist networks.
