Resumen de ¿Lo que cabe en el museo?: Una mirada crítica al museo de arte

Neste artigo buscamos refletir criticamente sobre o lugar que cabe à arte que se quer e que se faz política no contemporâneo, na expectativa da emergência de um debate sobre essas manifestações de arte política e, mais especificamente, se elas cabem (ou não) nos espaços disciplinados do museu de arte. Para tanto, tomamos a mostra Arte Democracia Utopia - quem não luta tá morto, realizada pelo Museu de Arte do Rio entre os meses de setembro de 2018 e maio de 2019, como lócus de observação e ponto de partida de nossas reflexões.

In this article we seek to critically reflect on the place that belongs to the art that is wanted and that becomes political in the contemporary, with the expectation that a debate will emerge on these manifestations of political art and, more specifically, if they fit (or not) in disciplined spaces of the art museum. To this end, we take the exhibition Arte Democracia Utopia - quem não luta tá morto, held by the Rio Art Museum between the months of September 2018 and May 2019, as a place of observation and starting point for our reflections.
