    La mètis, que designaba en la Grecia antigua la inteligencia para sobrevivir —con su saber práctico—, fue destituida cuando apareció una nueva modalidad del saber: el saber demostrativo (logos). Solamente será rehabilitada en la época contemporánea. ¿Pero está nueva mètis será equivalente a la de los antiguos? Es lo que veremos, ante todo, describiendo el paso del lazo social antiguo, organizado por el discurso mítico, al lazo social que prevalece entre la Antigüedad y la Época Moderna; y, luego, detallando el contexto actual (posmoderno) del retorno de la dominación progresiva de la mètis. Entonces descifraremos sus consecuencias sobre la lengua, los sujetos y el lazo social libanés, antes de examinar los efectos que parece producir en el corazón de la experiencia analítica.

    The mètis, which in ancient Greece designated the intelligence to survive –with its practical knowledge–, was dismissed when a new modality of knowledge emerged: the demonstrative knowledge (logos). It will only be reestablished in modern times. But, we wonder, is this mètis equivalent to the one of ancient times? This is what we will focus on by describing, first, the change from the ancient social link, organized by the mythical discourse, to the social bond that prevailed between Antiquity and Modern times. Then, by studying the present context (postmodern) marked by the return and progressive domination of the mètis. We will thereafter decipher the possible effects on the language, the subjects and the social link in Lebanon, to finish by analyzing the effects it seems to produce at the heart of the analytic experience.
