Análisis de la ciclidad registrada en las facies evaporíticas de la comarca de la Bureba (Burgos, España)

  • In the central area of La Bureba (Burgos, Spain) excellent outcrops of Lower Miocene evaporitic facies are present. The study of these facies by means of several statistical procedures (ITSM and AnalySeries 7.7 packages) applied to a time-series of relative depth rank, has shown the existence of a strong periodic cycle of 2.5 m of thickness and weak cycles of 1.95, 1.25 and 0.85 m. In this paper we consider that these cycles are inside the Milankovitch band. Taking into account the sedimentation rate and the numeric relationships among these cycles we consider that the cycle of 2.5 m corresponds to Obliquity.
