Resumen de Desarrollo de un modelo funcional de capa óptica

  La industria y los organismos de estandarización a nivel mundial han definido las características básicas que deberá tenerla capa óptica de las redes de transporte de próxima generación, y para dotar a dichas redes de estas características existen varias opciones, así como para la migración de las actuales arquitecturas existen diversas rutas. En este artículo se presentan algunos de los resultados de un trabajo consistente en desarrollar el modelo de capa óptica de acuerdo a los estándares y recomendaciones que actualmente aplican para la definición de AON/OTN, así como para las arquitecturas ASON/ASTN, considerando que la opción de migrar hacia una red todo óptica independiente es, tecnológicamente hablando, la mejor de las propuestas hasta el momento.

  The industry and the organisms of standardization at world-wide level have defined the basic characteristics that must have the optical layer of the next generation transport networks, and to equip these networks with these characteristics several options exist, as well as for the migration of the current architectures diverse routes exist.This article presents some of the results of a work that consists on to develop the modeling of optical layer according to the standards and recommendations that at the moment apply to the definition of AON/OTN, as well as for ASON/ASTN architectures, considering that the option to migrate towards a independent all optical network is, technologically, the best one of the proposals until the moment.
