    • This paper addresses the introduction of a computerized peer assessment system as part of the assessment process of an undergraduate module in the field of computer studies. The paper briefly describes the functionality of the system, and also analyses the student responses to the modification of the tutor–student relationship (one to many), by a student–student relationship (many to many), for assessment purposes. Plagiarism is addressed, and the paper analyses the effect the introduction of this computerized peer assessment system has upon this issue. Finally, the results of the various components of the assessment process are analysed with respect to student learning.
