La percepció de la tasca educativa entre educadors i educadores de l’educació en el lleure

    The education in leisure time can contribute important advantages as an education based on experiential methodology and on values. However, how aware are the educators of this educative task and its repercussion? This question is the starting point of the research based on the analysis of the perception of this educative task in the different leisure time organizations in Catalonia, the possible differences and institutional views of the movements and of the educators from groups of leisure education. This investigation has been based interviews to the manager of one of the leisure time education movement and with the specialist on leisure time and youth, surveys to educators and also a discussion group formed by educators in the leisure time.

    The study shows some of the future challenges in this kind of education to give an answer to the latent needs in our society and also to be recognized as an important kind of education. The aim of this study is also the proposal of the unification of the administration, the leisure time entities and the community in order to reinforce this education in our territory.

    L’educació en el lleure pot aportar nombrosos beneficis com a agent educatiu dins de la societat a través de la seva metodologia vivencial i de la transmissió de valors. Malgrat tot, fins a quin punt els educadors i educadores són conscients d’aquesta tasca educativa i funció pedagògica? Aquesta pregunta és el punt de partida de la recerca realitzada sobre l’anàlisi de la percepció de la tasca educativa que es fa a les entitats de lleure d’arreu de Catalunya, les diferències que s’observen i les visions institucionals, dels moviments i dels mateixos educadors i educadores dels esplais i caus. L’estudi parteix d’una investigació en la qual s’han utilitzat entrevistes amb el representant d’un moviment d’esplais i amb la tècnica de la regidoria de lleure i joventut d’un ajuntament, enquestes a educadors i educadores d’arreu del territori i grups de discussió entre monitors i monitores i caps.

    L’estudi realitzat ens mostra alguns reptes de futur de l’educació en el lleure per donar resposta a necessitats latents de la societat. També per a posar-lo en consideració com un agent educatiu important, i per a proposar una tasca conjunta entre l’administració, les pròpies entitats i la comunitat; per tal d’ enfortir l’educació en el lleure en el nostre territori.
