    El turismo de naturaleza y el turismo rural se han promovido en España en todas las comunidades autónomas como una actividad económica que podía sustituir las actividades agroganaderas tradicionales y que frenaría la sangría emigratoria en las aldeas más alejadas de los centros y ejes de desarrollo urbano. El análisis de los datos muestra, sin embargo, que muchos de estos destinos apenas han despertado el interés de posibles visitantes y que la rentabilidad de la inversión es, cuando menos, discutible. En esta comunicación se analiza la oferta y demanda turística de la España vaciada, teniendo en cuenta la sostenibilidad del proceso de transformación en destino turístico y la resiliencia territorial de unos espacios abandonados durante décadas por la falta de oportunidades, aunque sus antiguos habitantes mantengan con sus aldeas de origen vínculos objetivos y subjetivos de gran intensidad.

    Every Atonomous Community in Spain has promoted nature tourism and rural tourism in the villages furthest from the centers and axes of urban development as an economic activity that could replace traditional agro-livestock activities and that would halt emigration bleeding. However, the data analysis shows that many of these places have barely sparked the interest of potential visitors and that the return on investment is at least questionable. In this communication, the tourist supply and demand of the so-called Emptied Spain is analyzed, taking into account the sustainability in the process of transformation into a tourist destination and the territorial resilience of abandoned spaces, although ancient inhabitants had strong objective and subjective relations with those places
