    • On this paper the author gives us a panoramical vision of the situation of the Latin Grammar instruction during the first third of the XIX century in Spain. Based in former studies of the XVIII century, the author analyses the issue in three political and social consecutive periods, very different between them: The Restauration of Fernand VI, the Liberal Trienium and the Ominous Decade. Generally speaking, the situation of the Latin Grammar instruction it has been conditioned by the strong and difficult political tensions between liberal and conservative parties.
