  • The article discusses Henry James's novels inspires a long-running philosophical debate on treating a person like an artwork. Topics include in many stories and novels about artists and authors, James suggests to be sin as moral agents precisely or as appreciators; and James senses that there being a close connection between ability to treasure art and ability to act well toward people.
