Resumen de El movimiento gay, los ecos de Mayo del 68 y la definición de una identidad comunitaria

En este artículo proponemos acercarnos desde la complejidad a la formación de un movimiento social que pugnó por visibilizar una situación discriminatoria y definir su identidad y su concepción social. En ese sentido, intentamos acercarnos a los debates intestinos que pugnaron por definir las actuaciones de un movimiento muy heterogéneo. Para ello, pretendemos pulsar el desarrollo del movimiento homosexual en un contexto amplio -Estados Unidos y Europa-, entendiéndolo como uno más de los muchos movimientos que se desarrollaron a lo largo del siglo XX y que consiguieron transgredir las normas establecidas, cambiar la sociedad y ampliar los derechos civiles en el mundo occidental.

In this article we try to study to the formation of a social movement that wrestled for visibility to a discriminatory situation and define their identity and their social conception. In that sense, we try to reach the intestines debates that define the actions of a very heterogeneous movement pushed. To this end, we intend to push the development of the homosexual movement in a wide context -United States and Europe-, understanding it as one more of the many movements that developed throughout the 20th century and got transgressing the established norms, changing society and expand civil rights in the Western world.
