La presente comunicación tiene por objetivo analizar algunos de los aspectos en que la coexistencia con el liberalismo marcó una parte importante de la experiencia, discurso o prácticas de la contrarrevolución portuguesa desde la aparición del miguelismo, durante la tercera década del siglo XIX, hasta las primeras décadas del siglo XX, cuando se produjo la irrupción política del integralismo lusitano. Al mismo tiempo, en este texto también va a tratar de explorarse cómo en el seno del movimiento reaccionario portugués existieron, desde el principio, distintas posturas al respecto de cuál era el sistema político que debía ser implantado y, en consecuencia, cuál era el pasado que había que reivindicar.

This communication aims to analyse some of the aspects in which co-existence with liberalism marked an important part of the experience, discourse or practices of the Portuguese counter-revolution from the appearance of the miguelism, during the third decade of the 19th century, until the first decades of the 20th century, when there was the political emergence of the Lusitanian integralism. At the same time, this text also will explore how in the heart of the Portuguese reactionary movement existed, from the beginning, different positions on the subject of which was the political system that should be implemented and, consequently, what was the past that claim.
