    This article aims to analyze the private library of intellectual Clovis Moura. In its first part, we will present a brief biographical analysis of Moura. In the second part, we will survey the titles that make up his library until the year 1959, the date of the publication of his first book, Rebellions of Slaves. All this effort will allow us to verify part of the books that are present in his library, knowing those which possibly have influenced the elaboration of the book and identifying the topic of most interest for Clovis Moura

    Este artigo tem por objetivo analisar a biblioteca particular do intelectual Clóvis Moura. Para isso, dividimos o trabalho em duas partes. Na primeira, faremos uma breve análise biográfica de Moura. Já na segunda parte, faremos um levantamento dos títulos que compõem sua biblioteca até o ano de 1959, data da publicação do seu primeiro livro intitulado Rebeliões da Senzala. Todo esse esforço nos permitirá verificar parte dos livros que estão presentes em sua biblioteca, conhecer aqueles que possivelmente o influenciaram na elaboração do livro e, por fim, identificar o tema de maior interesse de Clóvis Moura.
