El proyecto de investigación mediante tomografía eléctrica en la Ciudad de Begastri pretende demostrar las grandes posibilidades que ofrece esta técnica geofísica para la detección en el subsuelo de las construcciones realizadas en el tramo de materiales cuaternarios que existen en la parte superior del cerro. Se han utilizado varias configuraciones que han permitido variedad en la profundidad y resolución de los resultados y podemos detectar estructuras enterradas con su geometría y estado, detectándose una discontinuidad importante de estas estructuras a 0,75 metros que supone un salto cualitativo interesante en la utilización de la tomografía eléctrica.

The aim of the electrical tomography research project in the city of Begastri was to demonstrate the great possibilities offered by this geophysical technique for the detection in the subsoil of the constructions carried out in the section of quaternary materials existing in the upper part of the hill. Several configurations have been used resulting in a wide range of depths and resolutions in the results, allowing us to detect buried structures with their geometry and state, detecting a significant discontinuity of these structures at 0.75 meters which represents an interesting qualitative leap in the use of the electrical tomography.
