Evaluación del potencial de la aplicación de biofertilizantes en huertos de manzanos ‘Gala’

    Se ha realizado un estudio para evaluar los efectos de sus biofertilizantes en un huerto de manzanos con árboles ramificados (7+), de la variedad ‘Gala Redlum’, injertado en M9, con 3.472 árboles por hectárea (3,20x0,90). El estudio se llevó a cabo en la zona oeste de Portugal, y valoró los efectos de tres de los productos de la compañía Asfertglobal: Mycoshell Tabs® en dosis de 2 y 4 pastillas, Kiplant All-Grip, en dosis de 6 l/ha y 12 l/ha y Kiplant iNmass en dosis de 6 l/ha y 12 l/ha.

    El estudio demostró que todas las modalidades biofertilizadas presentaron valores más elevados de rendimiento fisiológico que las no biofertilizadas. Tanto en índice de contenido de clorofila como en tasas fotosintéticas, los resultados fueron mejores en aquellos árboles tratados con los productos de fertilización natural.

    El estudio concluye que con la aplicación de estos biofertilizantes en manzanos se logra aumentar hasta en un 16% su productividad, obteniendo además un mayor crecimiento semanal de los frutos.

    The assessment of the potential of biofertilizers application on apple trees ‘Gala’ orchards. A study to assess the effects of its biofertilizers on an espaliered apple orchard (7+) of the ‘Gala Redlum’ variety, grafted in M9, with 3,472 trees per hectare (3.20 x 0.90), has been undertaken. The study was carried out in the western area of Portugal as an experimental protocol in conjunction with the National Institute for Agricultural and Veterinary Research of Portugal (INIAV, I.P.), and assessed the effects of three products of the company Asfertglobal: Mycoshell Tabs® in doses of 2 and 4 tablets; Kiplant All–Grip, in doses of 6l/ha and 12l/ha; and Kiplant iNmass in doses of 6l/ha and 12l/ha.

    The study showed that all the trees treated with biofertilizers had higher physiological performance rates than the non–treated ones. In terms of both the chlorophyll content index and photosynthetic rates, the results were better in those trees treated with natural fertilization products.

    The study concluded that with the application of these biofertilizers to apple trees it is possible to increase their productivity by up to 16%, as well as achieving greater weekly growth rates in the fruit.
