Resumen de El proceso ritual del internamiento para los menores infractores: Un enfoque cultural

  Desde la antropología y utilizando el enfoque de los ritos de paso como método etnográfico, analizamos el proceso por el que un menor de edad cumple una medida de privación de libertad en un Centro de Internamiento de Menores Infractores.

  Si tomamos al menor como protagonista y nos planteamos el internamiento como un rito de paso veremos que conceptos como liminalidad, communitas o acceso se presentan como muy útiles. Del mismo modo, podremos analizar todas sus fases desde este prisma, entendiendo multitud de pautas que bajo otros procesos quedan latentes y que de este modo se harán comprensibles.

  De esta forma, la estructura tripartita de separación, margen y agregación coincidirán y nos servirá para mostrar cómo es el proceso de internamiento, cumplimiento de la medida judicial y resocialización del menor; estableciendo un enfoque diferente con el que comprender lo que allí ocurre. Otros conceptos como marcas, territorio o separación también aparecerán en este artículo y resultarán muy eficaces para el estudio de este colectivo.

  This article analyses the whole process of internment of young people in a prison for juvenile offenders, using the anthropology and the rites of passage as an ethnographic method.

  We use the anthropology and the different tools from the rites for a better understanding about the cultural process in these institutions. If we consider the juvenile internment as a rite of passage, and we analyze every step under this perspective, -with the young offender as the main object-, we will show how concepts as liminality, communitas or access are very useful. At the same way, this approach shows us other latent meanings.

  Thus, the tripartite structure of separation, margin and aggregation converges and will serve us to show how is the incarceration process, sentence development and post re-socialization; establishing a different approach to understand what happens there. At the same line, other concepts from this field as marks, territory, separation will also appear in this article and they will be very effective for the study of this group
