    En el servicio de crucero marítimo confluyen los servicios de transporte por mar y alojamiento a bordo del barco con «otros servicios» idóneos para satisfacer el interés de placer o recreo de la persona viajera-usuaria del crucero. En este sentido, el servicio de crucero marítimo constituye un viaje combinado y, en consecuencia, la regulación que se le aplica de manera inmediata es la normativa sobre viajes combinados. En lo que atañe a la falta de conformidad consistente en suprimir, una vez iniciado el viaje, escalas y, correlativamente, las visitas (o actividades) programadas, a la persona viajera-usuaria del crucero le asisten los derechos a una reducción del precio adecuada y a una indemnización por daños y perjuicios (este último sujeto a una importante exención). Cualquier otra fórmula impuesta es ineficaz y sólo sería admisible con carácter adicional

    In the maritime cruise service, the transport services by sea and accommodation aboard the ship converge with «other services» suitable to satisfy the interest of pleasure or recreation of the traveler-user of the cruise. In this sense, the maritime cruise service constitutes a combined trip and, consequently, the regulation that applied to it immediately is the combined travel regulations. With regard to the lack of conformity consisting of suppressing, once the trip started, stopovers and, correspondingly, the scheduled visits (or activities), the traveler-user person of the cruise is assisted by the rights to an appropriate price reduction and to a compensation for damages (this latter subject to a significant exemption). Any other formula imposed is ineffective and would only be admissible additionally
