Paiol de telhas: a saga de um quilombo no paraná

    • Historically the quilombos were the first pockets of resistance of Africans under slavery in Brazil and, in actuality, means for this installment of the Brazilian society, especially, a right to be recognized and not exactly, and only one passed to rememorado. In the last two decades of the 20th century, the descendants of these Africans are organizing in Quilombo Associations throughout the national territory, to claim the right to remain and the legal recognition of ownership of the lands occupied and cultivated to housing and livelihood in which were crowded, as well as the free exercise of their practices, beliefs and values considered in its specificity. In this sense, the struggle for possession of the territory Centennial undertaken by Quilombola Community Wintering Armory of tiles, located in Guarapuava, Paraná State. This territory was being targeted by numerous disputes and sometimes undue appropriations over time and, therefore, the process of legal recognition of ownership of these lands by the former slaves and their descendants still in process to the present day. Therefore, this study has a claim to analyze how this community grants to its members able to develop economically in the region, and propose some hypotheses that can help you achieve this goal
