  • Corrozet's "Blasons domestiques" proves among other things that the didactic genre belongs to the « poetics » as well as the lyric genre. In its inventory of the different parts of the house, the book uses a method of description combining fragmentation and accumulation, a device borrow from the heraldy of love, and a fantasmatic expression of an impossible to satisfy desire to possess, and it demonstrates that literature, whatever it may claim as its object, isfondamentaly the expression of a lack.
