A new fluvial terraces chronology is proposed for the rivers in northern Cantabrian Range. Six terrace levels were identified and mapped. These have average heights of 2,5; 10; 15; 20; 35; and 63 m above river leve/. Four older surfaces were identified at 125, 250, 600 and 800 m above these terraces. The new ages place the Pleistocene terraces at 35 m above the fluvial channel. A discussion about the accuracy of the ages is presented.
