Resumen de Abrapalabra, de Luis Britto García.: Obra síntesis del boom y del postboom, en la literatura hispanoamericana

  Durante los años sesenta, aparece en Hispanoamérica una nueva narrativa, conocida como el Boom. La anterior, con un discurso horizontal y cuya temática era la dicotomía civilización-barbarie, fue remplazada por una más ágil y tematizada continentalmente. Tal movimiento contempla cuatro tendencias: realismo mágico, narrativa conceptual, sicologista y neobarroca. Le sigue el Postboom, una especie de oposición a la manifestación anterior, pero a nuestro juicio, solo en la estructura superficial. Dentro de este panorama, aparece el venezolano Luis Britto-García, premio Casa de las Américas, 1970, con su libro de cuentos, Rajatabla y 1979, con la novela Abrapalabra. Esta puede considerarse como una obra síntesis de las tendencias arriba citadas.

  During the sixties, a new narrative emerges in Hispanic America known as the Boom. The previous trend, of a horizontal discourse and whose theme was the civilization-barbarian dichotomy, was replaced by one that was more agile and continentally thematized. Such movement includes four trends: magical realism, conceptual narrative, psychologist narrative and neo-baroque narrative. It is followed by the Post boom, a kind of opposition to the previous manifestation, but in our opinion, this was only in the superficial structure. Within this vision, there stands the Venezuelan writer Luis Britto-García, Casa de las Américas Prize for his short story book Rajatabla in 1970, and in 1979, for his novel Abrapalabra. This can be considered as a synthesis work of the above mentioned trends
