  A Associação Portuguesa para o Desenvolvimento da Animação Sócio-Cultural (APDASC) está a iniciar uma nova etapa na sua história, a implementação do estatuto do animador sociocultural1 , aprovado e ratificado por aclamação no I Congresso Nacional de Animação Sociocultural, subordinado ao tema da Profissão e Profissionalização dos animadores, que se realizou nos dias 18, 19 e 20 de novembro de 2010, no Centro Cultural e de Congressos da cidade de Aveiro, após ter sido aprovado por unanimidade na Assembleiageral da APDASC.
