    Este artículo rastrea la relevancia de llevar a cabo un desplazamiento de la noción de “arte activista” a la de “activismo artístico” para caracterizar ciertas prácticas artísticas que han incursionado en la disputa política en América Latina en las últimas cinco décadas. Siguiendo las reflexiones de la Red de Conceptualismos del Sur, se propone refinar la definición de “arte activista” en favor de la de “activismo artístico” para singularizar las acciones que desde América Latina enfatizan su dimensión política situada. A partir de este replanteamiento se presentan ciertos problemas de la definición de “activismo artístico”, que no parece efectiva a la luz de propuestas desarrolladas en contextos democráticos y de gobiernos de izquierdas con el inicio del siglo XXI en América Latina, como los casos de Dale Letra (Venezuela), Mujeres Creando (Bolivia), #YoSoy132 (México) o Frente 3 de Fevereiro (Brasil)

    This article traces the relevance of carrying out a shift from the notion of "activist art" to "artistic activism" to characterize certain artistic practices that have openly entered into the political dispute in Latin America in the last five decades. Following the reflections of the Red de Conceptualismos del Sur, it is proposed to refine the definition of “activist art” in favor of that of “artistic activism” to point out the type of actions that from Latin America emphasize its situated political dimension. From this rethinking, certain problems arise in that definition of "artistic activism" that does not seem entirely effective regarding the proposals developed in democratic contexts and of leftist governments at the beginning of the 21st century in Latin America, as in the cases of Dale Letra (Venezuela), Mujeres Creando (Bolivia), #YoSoy132 (Mexico) or Frente 3 de Fevereiro (Brazil)
