    El Sahel se ha constituido en la actualidad como uno de los principales focos de desestabilización del continente africano debido a la expansión del yihadismo. Desde hace unos años, esta región se ha convertido en un santuario para grupos extremistas empeñados en destruir el futuro de millones de africanos y de alterar el orden internacional. Especialmente en Malí el yihadismo se ha expandido exponencialmente y dada la vinculación existente entre la seguridad europea y española con la de esta región creemos necesario realizar un estudio de la problemática de seguridad maliense respecto al terrorismo yihadista, analizando cómo la amenaza terrorista influye en la seguridad del Estado de Malí.

    The Sahel has become one of the main sources of destabilization of the African continent due to the expansion of jihadism. For a few years, this region has been established as a sanctuary for extremist groups committed to destroying the future of millions of Africans and altering the international order. Especially, in Mali, jihadism has expanded exponentially and given the link between European and Spanish security with that of this region, we believe it is necessary to conduct a study of the Malian security issue regarding jihadist terrorism, analysing how the terrorist threat influences the security of the State of Mali.
