Resumen de As crenças de autoeficácia e o desempenho escolar dos estudantes de Física: construção e validação de um instrumento de análise

  In the educational field the investigations on the role of the self-efficacy beliefs in the behavior of teachers and students are growing every year. Our goal was to elaborate a Likert scale questionnaire to measure students' levels of self-efficacy regarding their school performance in the discipline of Physics. The questionnaire was submitted to evaluation of three expert Professors in Educational Research. In addition, the results obtained were statistically tested, obtaining a Cronbach Alpha index of 0,881. Finally, using the Tau de Kendall correlation test, we found positive relationships between the self-efficacy beliefs of students and the time devoted to the study of the discipline as well their school performance. The test demonstrated negative rela-tionships between the self-efficacy beliefs, the age of students and their school level. After all the validation stage of the instrument, we can conclude that the questionnaire shows evidence of validity.

  No campo educacional, as investigações sobre o papel das crenças de autoeficácia no comportamento de professores e alunos vêm crescendo a cada ano. Nosso objetivo foi o de construir um questionário de escala Likert que mensurasse os níveis de autoeficácia dos estudantes a respeito de seu desempenho escolar na disciplina de Física. O questionário elaborado foi submetido à avaliação de três “professores-juízes" com experiência em pesquisa em educação. Além disso, os resultados obtidos passaram por testes estatísticos, obtendo índice de Alpha de Cronbach igual a 0,881. Por fim, fazendo uso do teste de correlação de Tau de Kendall, encontramos relações positivas entre as crenças de autoeficácia dos estudantes com o tempo dedicado ao estudo da disciplina e o seu desempenho escolar. O teste demonstrou relações negativas entre as crenças de autoeficácia, a idade e a série dos estudantes. Após findarmos todas as etapas de validação do instrumento, pudemos concluir que o mesmo carrega consigo evidências de validade.
