    La relectura de documentación epigráfica y de archivo permite interpretar la capilla funeraria de la familia del Río como exponente de la inclusión y ascenso de un grupo familiar en la sociedad castellana a lo largo del siglo XV. Se han construido las líneas básicas de las trayectorias vitales de las primeras generaciones, de su relación con la capilla y del proceso que convierte a esta última en seña de identidad donde se muestra la memoria interesada de los antepasados

    The rereading of epigraphic and archival documentation allows us to interpret the funerary chapel for the Río family as an example of the inclusion and rise of a family group in Castilian society during the 15th century. It has been constructed the basic lines of the life history of the older generations, their relationship with their chapel, and the process that turns the latter into a form of identity where it is shown the memory of the ancestors with a vested interest in.
