  • The article offers artists Willa Wasserman unconventional convex paintings that express skepticism and unabashed sentimentality. Topics include examines that while working on an MFA at the University of California, Los Angeles, Wasserman began a series borrowing from the Renaissance metal point tradition in 2018; and considered that artists like Leonardo da Vinci used a piece of metal sharpened to a point and set in a stylus to draw precise renderings with fine lines.
