    En Francia hoy, el teatro tiende a tratar las preocupaciones de toda una sociedad a partir de lo trágico de la vida corriente, y de esa forma busca educar al espectador. Con ese fin, la alianza de los tres pilares—texto, puesta en escena y actores—a los que debemos de ahora en adelante añadir el público, es imparable. Por este motivo, el teatro contemporáneo en Francia se sitúa entre herencias e innovaciones. Sigue siendo el espejo de la sociedad contemporánea, buscando hacer reflexionar a sus miembros, manteniendo su vigilia y propiciando su despertar

    Today in France, the theatre tends to deal with the concerns of all the layers of society, departing from the tragedy of current life and, in that way, attempts to educate the audience.

    To that end, the alliance of the three basic pillars—text, staging and actors, together with the audience—is unstoppable. For this reason, the contemporary drama in France is located between inheritances and innovations, and continues to be the mirror of present-day society, trying to make people think, maintaining their vigil and propitiating their awakening.
