Resumen de La reflexión metalingüística en la prensa sefardí

El objetivo del artículo consiste en analizar las reflexiones metalingüísticas presentes en la prensa sefardí escrita en judeoespañol, con el fin de averiguar cuál es el estatus de dicho idioma entre sus hablantes. Como fuente de información, nos serviremos de los artículos publicados en la revista Aki Yerushalayim (Israel) y en el semanario Şalom (Turquía) en un periodo de tres años, de 2013 a 2015. Nos centraremos en cuestiones como las distintas denominaciones de la lengua y sus connotaciones, las actitudes frente al judeoespañol y, en general, frente al papel de la prensa sefardí, las posturas en relación al castellano y otras lenguas, etc., a fin de determinar la importancia que tiene para la comunidad sefardí el idioma de sus ancestros expulsados de España.

The aim of this paper is to analyze the metalinguistic reflexion found in the Sephardic press written in Judeo-Spanish and, in consequence, to determine the status of this language among its speakers. As source of information were used the articles published in the journals Aki Yerushalayim (Israel) and Şalom (Turkey) from 2013 to 2015. We focus on such issues as the different denominations of the language and their connotations, attitudes towards JudeoSpanish, Castilian and other languages of the community, the importance of the Sephardic press, etc. in order to determine the significance for the Sephardic Jews of the language of their ancestors expelled from Spain.
