En el contexto de la Agenda 2030 y atendiendo a las actuales conceptualizaciones de turismo sustentable y responsabilidad social, el turismo socialmente responsable es aquel que entiende que las organizaciones del sector deben asumir las responsabilidades asociadas a los impactos derivados de sus decisiones y actividades, a través de un comportamiento transparente y ético.
El análisis comparativo de la Agenda 2030 y de la ISO 26000:2010 permite concluir que las organizaciones del sector turístico contribuyen a la consecución de los ODSs al implementar buenas prácticas de responsabilidad social, ya que ambos instrumentos comparten su objetivo general que es propender al desarrollo sostenible y su conceptualización, reconociendo sus tres dimensiones y su interdependencia.
In the context of the 2030 Agenda, and taking into account the current conceptualizations of sustainable and socially responsible tourism, socially responsible tourism is understood as the responsibility that sector organizations must assume associated with the impacts derived from their decisions and activities through transparent and ethical behavior. The comparative analysis of the 2030 Agenda and ISO 26000:2010 allows to conclude that the organizations of the sector contribute to the achievement of the SDGs through the implementation of good practices on social responsibility, since both instruments share their general objective, which is to promote sustainable development, and its conceptualization, recognizing its three dimensions and its interdependence.
