Resumen de “Mal casada, no te enojes”: formas y funciones de la lírica popular en 'El Cortesano' de Luis Milán (el ejemplo de la primera Jornada)

El presente trabajo pretende reflexionar acerca de la utilización de la lírica popular en la literatura cortesana, especialmente en la obra El Cortesano (1561) de Luis Milán. Primeramente se realizará un repaso historiográfico sobre la identidad y la producción literario-musical del autor. En la segunda parte, procederemos al estudio de las unidades de lírica popular incluidas en la Primera Jornada de esta obra. Se analizará detalladamente cada ejemplo tratando de establecer las formas de aparición en el texto, las diferentes funciones que realizan dentro de las intervenciones de los personajes y el desarrollo que esas unidades de la lírica popular tuvieron tanto en obras literarias como en obras musicales del siglo XVI y XVII.

This paper aims at approaching and reflecting on the use of popular lyric in courtly literature, particularly in the play of El Cortesano (1561) by Luis Milan. Firstly, we will conduct a historiographical overview on identity and literary-musical works of the author. In the second part, we will study popular lyric units, which are included in first chapter of this play, we will investigate each example thoroughly through the establishment of forms and characteristics of appearance in the text. Also, we will analyse functions that are performed within the interventions and the development that these units of popular lyric had both in literary and musical works of the 16th and 17th century.
