    La presente investigación propone analizar el vínculo trazado entre un acontecimiento programado, el turismo como actividad económica y la cultura contenida en el patrimonio tangible e intangible de Carmen de Patagones. Procura identificar, asimismo, la correlación entre la identidad de los maragatos y su manifestación en el contexto de la fiesta, reconociendo el valor de la historia local en la configuración del territorio nacional y de la fiesta en cuestión como baluarte de protección de la memoria maragata.

    The present investigation proposes to analyze the link drawn between a programmed event, tourism as an economic activity and the culture contained in the tangible and intangible heritage of Carmen de Patagones. It also seeks to identify the correlation between the identity of the maragatos and their manifestation in the context of the fiesta, recognizing the value of local history in the configuration of the national territory and the fiesta in question as a bulwark of the protection of the maragata memory.
