    La nueva investigación revisa el conjunto de edificios escolares construidos para la escuela primaria pública en la provincia de Sevilla desde el siglo XIX y hasta 1970. Fundamentado en una investigación precedente sobre la capital andaluza, amplía el ámbito de observación geográfico y temporal para mejorar el conocimiento sobre el establecimiento y la evolución de la red de escuelas primarias públicas en el territorio andaluz, para contribuir a su valoración patrimonial. El principal interés está en el conjunto de nuevos casos localizados que se añaden al inventario, identificando sus características y valorándolas en relación a su contexto de origen y a su estado actual. El nuevo estado de la cuestión que se observa, servirá para defender nuevas y más certeras conclusiones.

    The new research reviews the set of school buildings built for the public elementary school in the province of Seville from the 19 th century until 1970. Based on a previous investigation on the Andalusian capital, it extends the scope of geographical and temporal observation to improve knowledge about the establishment and evolution of the network of public primary schools in the Andalusian territory, to contribute to its heritage valuation. The main interest is in the group of new localized cases that are added to the inventory, identifying their characteristics and valuing the relationships between their context of origin and their current status. The new state of the matter that is observed will serve to defend new and more accurate conclusions.
