El experimentalismo en la novela marroquí refleja el conocimiento por parte de los escritores de teorías literarias producidas en Occidente así como del esfuerzo desplegado por creadores y teóricos occidentales para el desarrollo del género novelesco. Los novelistas marroquíes son conscientes de la responsabilidad que les incumbe en cuanto que creadores, y no teóricos, de innovar y de seguir la vía del experimentalismo en la novela y no otra vía.

Experimentalism in the Moroccan novel reflects the writers’ knowledge about literary theories produced in the West and also about the blossoming force that Western creators and theorists have put into the development of the novelistic genre. Moroccan novelists are aware of the responsibility that belongs to them as creators, yet not theorists, to innovate and follow the way of experimentalism in the novel while not following other ways.
