    O emprego de materiais cerâmicos para reabilitação em dentes posteriores tem sido amplamente divulgado, principalmente após o advento das estruturas de reforço livre de metal (copping), somado à possibilidade de uní-las à estrutura do dente por meio de sistemas adesivos e cimentos resinosos. Este caso ilustra o estado da arte nas reconstruções unitárias livres de metal. Além disso, neste artigo serão descritas e discutidas todas as etapas clínicas para confecção de uma coroa unitária livre de metal e as características dos materiais empregados, visando obter o melhor resultado estético e maior durabilidade.

    The use of ceramic materials for rehabilitation of posterior teeth have been widely disclosed, mainly due to the introduction of metal-free coppings, added to the possibility of bonding to the tooth structure using adhesive systems and resin-based luting agents. This case report illustrates the state of the art of rehabilitation using a singleunit metal-free crown. In addition, this article will describe and discuss all the clinical steps of a single unit metal-free crown and the characteristics of the materials used, in order to obtain the best aesthetic result and clinical longevity
