    Los cambios del modelo de acumulación de capital en América Latina están transformando la profesión docente. Estas mutaciones se ubican en el fenómeno de la precarización del trabajo. Uno de los niveles en los cuales se observa este proceso es la intensificación del trabajo. Este estudio tiene como objetivo presentar un panorama general sobre los efectos de la intensificación del trabajo docente en los maestros en tres países latinoamericanos: Argentina, Brasil y México. Este análisis deriva de una revisión indicativa de los estudios que reflejan las consecuencias de este fenómeno. Sin embargo, como el tema es amplio y complejo, en la revisión también se consideraron estudios que, aun cuando no tenían como objetivo tratar el tema, indirectamente lo tocan. La revisión identifica cuatro efectos que se presentan en este trabajo: uno, el aumento de las horas de trabajo fuera de horario; dos, la creciente diversificación de funciones de los maestros; tres, la necesidad de los docentes de tener otros empleos; y cuatro, los problemas de capacitación fuera de horario.

    Changes in the model of capital accumulation in Latin America are transforming the teaching profession. These mutations are located in the phenomenon of precarisation of labour. One of the levels on which this process is observed is the intensification of work. The purpose of this study is to present a general overview of the effects of the intensification of teacher work on teachers in three Latin American countries: Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. This analysis derives from an indicative review of the studies that reflect the consequences of this phenomenon. However, as the subject is broad and complex, this review also considered studies that, even if they did not intend to address this issue, indirectly touch on it. The review identifies four effects that are presented here: One, the increase in working time after hours; two, the increasing diversification of teachers' functions; three, the need for teachers to have other jobs; and four, the problems of professional training after hours.
